The grape in itself is a lackluster fruit and is prone to many diseases. The vines do not offer much resistance by way of mutations and many times the crop comes out to be unexciting. Maybe the difficulty in growth has added to the flavor of Pinot being so rare and expensive. These wines come out pale as compared with their nobler cousins. However, we at George Nader collection are always in awe of this beatific wine and its various tantrums.
